I have owned an Congo African Grey for almost 6 years now. During that time various veterinarians have encouraged me to feed him pellets rather than the regular seed and pellet mixes. My bird would eat just the seeds and toss the pellets.

This was a replacement for one I'd had for several years. The finches used to leave my yard when the weather turned warm, but now they stay all year! I love the reasonable price I get by ordering 20 lbs of Nutri-Berries at a time. The 'berries' are well packed in layers, with clear, plastic spacers, every 3 or 4 inches to keep the bottom berries from getting crushed. Unfortunately, there still are a lot of loose seeds at the bottom of the carton.
As far as the 'nutri' part of the food, my birds have always had a clean slate of health from their vet. So, they seem to be getting all the nutrition they need. Thankfully, since one of my birds will ONLY eat Lafeber's Nutri-Berries.

I have an Eclectus that is a very picky eater. She LOVES this stuff. You do have to add boiling water
instead of hot tap water and soak at least half an hour or more. I add her fresh veggies and fruits to the mix after
it cools off. She has never been big on fruits except banana and watermelon but at least now she is trying different fruit. Nice to see her beak come up covered in food
